Douglas M. Egbert is a seasoned litigator who handles a broad range of employment related issues.
Mr. Egbert began his practice at Jackson Lewis, P.C., and spent more than 12 years representing some of the largest corporations in the country. Mr. Egbert now fiercely advocates for California employees’ rights.
Mr. Egbert’s prior experience on the employer-side gives him a keen insight into how employers and their insurance companies evaluate cases and seek to minimize risk. This critical knowledge provides Mr. Egbert a competitive advantage at all phases of litigation. He knows how employers think and he uses that knowledge to maximize recovery for his clients.
Mr. Egbert’s practice includes a wide range of workplace law issues, including wrongful termination, disability discrimination, sexual harassment, race discrimination and harassment, retaliation, wage and hour issues and so on. He practices in both state and federal court, and handles all phases of litigation, including trials and appeal.
Mr. Egbert graduated summa cum laude from Washington State University. He obtained his law degree from UC Davis.
